Suicide blast kills two, several wounded during protest at eastern Afghanistan election office

A suicide bomber has killed at least two people and injured four near the Independent Election Commission offices in Jalalabad, east Afghanistan, local officials confirmed, according to news. The suicide attacker detonated the bomb in the middle of a crowd of protesters at around 11.30am on Saturday. The protesters were gathered at the Independent Election Commission to rally against the disqualification of Javed Zaman as a candidate in the upcoming October election.
